Women’s Soccer, Basketball Teams Read to Children at Library

In celebration of Women’s History Month, the NSU Sharks women’s soccer and women’s basketball teams took time off from their busy schedule to spend some valuable time with their greatest fans … young readers and their parents. 

About 55 people attended the Story Time fun session held in the Alvin Sherman Library, Research and Information Technology Center to hear the women’s soccer team share their favorite books and sing songs on March 19.  The celebration continued on March 26 when the SSC Champion NSU women’s basketball team thrilled the young children with stories, crafts and some fancy basketball passes.
