Anton Heads NSU-Orlando SEC
Cathy Anton started with NSU-Orlando in 2004 as an assistant director for program development and was named director in May 2007. She is an active member of several community organizations and chambers in the Orlando area. The Orlando Student Educational Center has a strong corporate partnership with Disney World and recently forged a new relationship with IKEA; the SEC also partners with non-profit organizations such as Devereux Florida, educational systems such as the Orange County Public School System, and government entities such as the Orange County Commission for Children. The Orlando site is a 60,000 square foot state-of-the-art building conveniently located off major interstates and offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees as well as a full-time physician assistant program. The majority of NSU-Orlando students are “non-traditional” – working adults who are balancing jobs, families and their education – and attend classes on-site in the evenings or on weekends, online, or in a blended format suited to their individual needs and learning styles.
