CPS Offers Training in Parenting Skill Program Training In Parenting Skill (TIPS) is a general parent training class offered by NSU’s Psychology Services Center, Child Adolescent and Family Services Program (CAFS) that promotes an active parenting style. It focuses on prevention of problematic behavior and communication with children 2-12 years old. The next TIPS class is scheduled to start July 11, Wednesdays from 7:00 -9:00 p.m., in the Maltz Psychology Building on NSU’s main campus. The total cost of the 6-week course is $91. For parents who are interested in the Spanish version of this parenting class, the next Spanish parenting class will start Thursday, May 31, 6:00 – 8:00 pm. For more information, call 954-262-5862.
