NSU Theatre presents the Laramie Project

NSU Theatre, sponsored by the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences' Division of Humanities, offered performances of the drama, Laramie Project, as well as a discussion, “Sex Talk: Laramie Project Talkback.”

Moisés Kaufman and members of the Tectonic Theater Project wrote the Laramie Project by using segments of interviews with townspeople in Laramie, Wyoming. Contributors spoke about the brutal 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard, a 21-year old gay student. The play examines the identities of the town and of America.
