NSU Athletic Training Student Honored in National Symposium

Priscilla Dobbs, athletic training major in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences’ Division of Math, Science, and Technology, has been selected as one of 10 presenters for the 22nd Annual Athletic Training Student Symposium, hosted by the Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association (SEATA).

Dobbs’ abstract, entitled “Forearm Injury in a Female Collegiate Rower: Case Study,” was selected for the poster format dissemination during the Clinical Case Study Presentation session. For the first time, the symposium will feature poster presentations, in addition to the traditional oral presentations. Dobbs will present her poster on Feb. 9-10 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Patricia McGinn, Ph.D., ATC, assistant professor, is the faculty adviser and co-author for Dobbs’ acclaimed project.
