Vote for NSU Student who is Top Ten Finalist in America’s Next Top Model Competition

Stacy-Ann Fequiere

Stacy-Ann Fequiere, an elementary education major in the Fischler School of Education and Human Services, is gorgeous, outgoing, and well-known for her charming personality. She also takes a fabulous photograph. It was all of these qualities and more that helped Stacy-Ann capture the attention of the four judges at the auditions of the top rated TV show, America’s Next Top Model. Fequiere is one of ten finalists vying for a spot on the show. Only one of the finalists will travel to Los Angeles to compete for the title of “America’s Next Top Model.” The young woman with the most votes from the public will win the chance to go to California to compete. Through Monday, August 27, you can vote for our NSU student by visiting www.cwsfl.com.

Fequiere, who grew up in Canada and South Florida, plans to teach 5th or 6th grade reading. She is also considering the possibility of teaching English in Japan for a few years. Her life’s goals also include the pursuit of her ultimate dream - high fashion modeling in Europe and Africa.

An active part of the NSU community, Fequiere is a member of the Caribbean Student Association, the Pan–African Student Association and Knights of the Kitchen Table.

“Some of my greatest and most memorable moments at NSU were of being involved in the Annual Homecoming Water Raft Race, of being an NSU Freshmen Orientation Leader and a tutor for America Reads,” she says. “I also participated in a super fierce fashion show with Delta Phi E. My professors are all amazing and my fellow classmates are very supportive. Nova is a great school and I would not have chosen any other school to experience my undergraduate years.”

Her degree from NSU will help her pursue her passion to teach. However, Fequiere needs the NSU community to help her reach the next level in her pursuit of modeling.

Let’s help send our own to America’s Next Top Model. Vote today!
