Women’s Rowing Team Wins 2007 Sunshine State Conference Championship

Nova Southeastern University captured the 2007 Sunshine State Conference Women's Rowing Championship, held on Saturday evening at the 1,850 meter Tampa Bypass Canal course in Tampa, Florida. The NSU varsity four and varsity eight crews each claimed first place finishes in their respective races, to earn the first SSC Women's Rowing Championship in program history.

NSU is ranked #3 in the nation and first in the South Region, as they look to qualify for the fourth consecutive season for the NCAA Women's Rowing Championships, which will be held May 25-27 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
