University of Rome Professor visits Fischler School

Professor Valerio Eletti from the University of Rome – La Sapienza, visited with Instructional Technology and Distance Education professors at the Fischler School of Education and Human Services on June 27.

Eletti is the Scientific Director at the School of Communication Sciences of the University of Rome, and the main contact for the International ITDE/E-Learning Master’s Degree which is being offered as a dual degree between the Italian university and the Fischler School of Education and Human Services. Eletti presented a paper on,  “The E-Learning Movement in Europe” and discussed the latest developments in the field of technology and distance education as they relate to the innovative dual degree program that stated last April.
