Dept of Athletics to Establish Athletics Hall of Fame – Deadline to nominate: Dec. 15

Director of Athletics Michael Mominey recently announced the establishment of the NSU Athletics Hall of Fame, as part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of NSU Athletics. The Hall of Fame is designed to recognize athletic alumni, former coaches, friends of the athletics department and program pioneers to be honored for their outstanding athletic achievement and contribution to the NSU Athletics program.

The inaugural class will be announced during Homecoming week, January 25-28, 2007, and the induction ceremony will take place at a special banquet in the spring of 2007.

The Hall of Fame Selection Committee is now accepting nominations to be considered for the inaugural class through Dec. 15. To nominate an individual, click on the NSU Athletics Hall of Fame icon in the upper left-hand corner of the NSU Athletics homepage.
