Education Law Program Begins for Non-LawyersNSU has established the nation’s first online education law program for non-lawyers. Offered through NSU’s Shepard Broad Law Center, the Master of Science in Education Law program addresses a critical need for educators to be conversant in the expanding body of regulations pertaining to education, school administration, and special education. The program teaches educators and school administrators who are not attorneys to better identify, understand, and respond to complex legal issues. Timothy L. Arcaro, J.D., professor at NSU’s Shepard Broad Law Center, will serve as program director. Geoff Still, M.Acc., J.D., director of finance and operations at the Mailman Segal Institute, developed the program concept and is the associate director.
