The H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship now offers an MBA in Real Estate Development.

The M.B.A. in Real Estate Development provides a rich understanding of how significantly this field impacts both business and society, and its vitality to the marketplace.

Real estate development has long been one of Florida’s most important economic legs. Because of the increased presence and sophistication of the industry, there is a growing demand for employees who are academically prepared to work at high-levels within the real estate industry. Students who enroll in this 43 credit hour program will gain the graduate-level education necessary to understand the complex and multifaceted development process.
The program’s curriculum has the rigor of a traditional MBA program while focusing specifically on the real estate development industry. In addition to the core courses associated with the master of business administration program, those who enroll in this program will take specific courses that are designed to take those who pursue a career in real estate development to the next level. The program is a unique combination of theory and practice that will both enhance the knowledge-base and the development of professional skills. This program will provide students with the necessary skills to succeed in the real business world, while having a broad perspective on the issues involved in the real estate development process. Graduates will be able to make immediate and significant contributions to the profitability of their careers within the real estate development industry.

The MBA in Real Estate Development major will be available for spring 2006 semester. Visit www.huizenga.nova.edu for more information about this program.
