Expansion Plans in Store for Law Center’s International Dual Degree Program with University of Barcelona

Dr. Mar Campins, Vice Chancellor and Inmaculada Barral, Vice Dean of the Law School in Barcelona recently visited the Shepard Broad Law Center to discuss enhancing and expanding NSU’s relationship with one of the oldest universities in the western world. 

Founded in 1450, the University of Barcelona along with NSU, offer an unparalleled opportunity to students of both universities to:

  • Earn a dual law degree,
  • Practice transactional law in the European Union,
  • Be admitted on motion in most Latin-American jurisdictions, and
  • Practice law in the United States and Spain. 
President Ray Ferrero, Jr. welcomes Dr. Campins with an NSU pin.

Dr. Campins and Vice Dean Barral spent time with European and American law students, and met with deans and professors of NSU in hopes of advancing university relations between all NSU centers and the University of Barcelona.
