NSU Cheerleader Selected Ms. Sarasota

NSU senior and cheerleader Johanna Torres was crowned Miss Sarasota in March 2006, and will represent the city in the Miss Florida USA pageant, which will be held in July. 

Torres, who will graduate on May 7 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Communication, is currently interning at CBS 4, and hopes to work in the electronic news media.  She has been competing in beauty pageants for more than 10 years.
