Winners of the 2006 Stuey Awards Announced
Business Coed Named Student of the Year

The red carpet rolled out last week as the NSU community celebrated its brightest stars at the 7th Annual Student Life Achievement (STUEY) Awards. The STUEY is given to the university's best in leadership, scholarship, service, integrity, commitment, involvement, and responsibility. The evening of glamour was capped off with the naming of Shruti Salghur as NSU Student of the Year. Other STUEY recipients included:

Staff Person of the Year Tanya Gress, College of Dental Medicine
Professor of the Year Mahmood Shivji, Oceanographic Center
Administrator of the Year Patricia Jason, Shepard Broad Law Center
Alumnus of the Year Joe Perez, Huizenga School
Extended Community Member of the Year Cynthia Farmer, Jacksonville SEC
Co-Curricular Advisor of the Year Gary Gershman, Farquhar College
NCAA Female Athlete of the Year Danielle Garcia, Rowing
NCAA Male Athlete of the Year Adam Ludden, Soccer
Corporate Partner of the Year Rick Case Automotive
Graduate Organization of the Year Psychological Studies Student Govt. Assoc.
Undergraduate Organization of the Year Delta Phi Epsilon
Athletic Team of the Year Women’s Rowing
Juan Pablo Correa Memorial Scholarship Akshat Bhargava, Farquhar College
