Fischler School Student Recognized as Outstanding Teacher

Barbra M. Thoeming, student in the Education Leadership master’s program at Fischler School of Education and Human Services, was named Teacher of the Year for Harmony High School in fall 2005. On Friday, March 31, the Education Awards Ceremony was held and Thoeming was named the Osceola County School District Teacher of the Year. She will represent Osceola County in the Florida Teacher of the Year competition held later this summer. Thoeming serves as an English teacher and Yearbook Sponsor at Harmony High School in Harmony, Florida.
