Broadcasting Pioneer John Tenaglia to Speak at Nova Southeastern University’s Business School

FT. LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. – John Tenaglia, a broadcasting pioneer with more than 40 years experience in the entertainment industry, will be speaking at Nova Southeastern University’s H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship on Nov. 12 as part of the Business School’s Distinguished Lecture Series.

The free public lecture will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Julian and Ellen Knight Lecture Hall in the Carl DeSantis Building, located at NSU’s Davie campus (3301 College Avenue). Space is limited and RSVPs must be made by calling (954) 262-5065.

Currently a broadcasting consultant, Tenaglia left his mark in broadcasting with General Cinema when he was the first to commit to a group of Top 40 programming on FM radio while others were playing elevator music. A veteran of many sales and purchases of broadcast properties, he developed a reputation in the banking and financial circles for accurately forecasting the industry’s economy and trends.  Tenaglia received the “Golden Mic” award from the National Association of Broadcasters for his many contributions to the industry throughout his career.

The Distinguished Lecture Series, sponsored by BankAtlantic, is designed to provide students and members of the community a glimpse into the minds of successful and outstanding entrepreneurs and business leaders. The series has previously welcomed business titans such as Jack Welch, The Honorable Clarence Thomas, Robert L. Johnson, Alan Potamkin, Ronald Bergeron, Stephen A. Ross, Ph.D., and H. Wayne Huizenga.
