NSU's Shepard Broad Law Center to Host Winter Graduation Ceremony
FT. LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. – The Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University will host its winter graduation ceremony for 29 graduates and their families on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 2 p.m. in the Rose & Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center (3100 Ray Ferrero, Jr., Blvd.) on NSU's main campus.
Carl Monk, executive director of the Association of American Law Schools, will serve as the commencement speaker. The trustees of Nova Southeastern University will award Monk an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws.
A unique aspect of the graduation ceremony is that each student can choose to be “hooded” by a family member or faculty member who has had significant influence on his/her academic career. The hooding ceremony will be followed by a reception in the Law Center atrium.
