NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY TO HOST SOUTH FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL ™ BLUES FESTIVAL
FT. LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. – On November 9 - 11, Nova Southeastern University (NSU) will present the First Annual South Florida International ™ Blues Festival. This event, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Nova Southeastern University’s main campus in Davie, Fla., in front of the Alvin Sherman Library, Research and Information Technology Center.
The event begins on Friday evening at 5:00PM, kicked-off by the one man wonder, Ben Prestage, followed by various regional and local acts. National star Tinsley Ellis closes the night from 10:30PM to midnight.
Saturday begins at noon and continues throughout the day featuring various regional and local acts. At 9:00PM, the star studded ladies from Blues Caravan rev-up the action and National star Duke Robillard closes the night from 10:30 to midnight.
Sunday begins at noon with down home Gospel music from the Lil Rev Gospel Revue. The show continues throughout the day with various regional and local acts. At 4:30, the incomparable Lil Ed and the Imperials take the stage and finish out the show.
