NSU Hosts Carl Buck’s Secrets of Financial Aid for College-Bound Students & Parents
FORT LAUDERDALE – Financial Aid expert Carl Buck, will present a free seminar for college-bound students and parents, “The Secrets of Financial Aid: College and Personal Funding Solutions,” on Saturday, Nov. 18, 10:00 a.m., in the Miniaci Performing Arts Center on the main campus of Nova Southeastern University, 3301 College Avenue, Fort Lauderdale.
Families will learn how the financial aid process works, how to develop household-specific plans for managing tuition costs, and how to choose the right mix of financial aid options.
Carl Buck has more than 30 years of experience in guiding students, parents, and educators on matters related to financial aid. He currently serves as the Vice President of College Funding Solutions for Peterson’s, a Nelnet Company, which offers college guides, advice and education information for students and those who support their educational goals. He is also the author of Peterson’s The Student Aid Answer Book.
