NSU Hosts 2004 World Champion Swimmer Michael Phelps
Life 101…Personally Speaking Series Kicks off Speaker on October 21st

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL— Swimming sensation and 2004 World Champion 19 year old Michael Phelps will be the first guest for Nova Southeastern University’s "Life 101…Personally Speaking" 2004-2005 season on Thursday, October 21, at 7:00 p.m., on NSU’s main campus, in the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center, 3100 Ray Ferrero Jr. Blvd., Fort Lauderdale.

As part of “Life 101…Personally Speaking,” NSU Professor Mark Cavanaugh, Ph.D., will interview the six-time gold medalist in a one-on-one casual format that explores the person behind the name.

The laid-back “Life 101” interview will last approximately one hour, followed by a question-and-answer session by the auditorium audience. A reception will be held immediately following in the lobby/plaza area.

Tickets, which are free to NSU students, faculty and staff members, will be available on October 4 th at Rosenthal Student Union, Atrium desk of the Shepard Broad Law Center and at the Health Professions Division Terry building reception desk on NSU’s main campus.

Tickets for the public are limited and are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis at a cost of $20 per ticket.
