SHSS C0-SPONSORS 5th Asian-Pacific Film Festival of Florida

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - Nova Southeastern University’s Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) is proud co-sponsor of the 5th Asian-Pacific Film Festival of Florida (APFFF), which continues Friday, October 24 through Sunday, October 26 at Cinema Paradiso, 503 SE 6 St. in Fort Lauderdale.

APFFF, in cooperation with the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, is showcasing films representing Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Japanese, South Korean, and Thai cultures. Celebrating 15 years of excellence, the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) offers interdisciplinary graduate programs in conflict analysis and resolution, family therapy, cross-disciplinary studies, college student personnel, peace studies, family studies, health care conflict resolution, family systems healthcare, advanced family systems, and joint programs with the Criminal Justice Institute, the S. Broad Law Center, and the College of Allied Health and Nursing. SHSS is also a home of the two academic journals: "Peace and Conflict Studies," and "The Qualitative Report."
