Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences to Celebrate 15th Anniversary
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL—NSU's Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences will celebrate 15 Years of program excellence on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at Alumni Hall on the East Campus. A wine and hors d' oeuvres reception will take place at 6 p.m., with a program at 7 p.m. featuring an address from President Ray Ferrero, Jr. and guest speaker Carmen M. Ayala of Mind to Market (MTM). Ayala was chosen as one of South Florida's 50 Most Successful Women by Fast Track magazine in Spring 2002. The program also will feature a video retrospective on SHSS's beginnings, its development through the years, and the contributions it has made to the social sciences, followed by dessert.

SHSS offers innovative, interdisciplinary programs in conflict analysis and resolution, family therapy, cross-disciplinary studies, college student personnel, peace studies, family studies, healthcare conflict resolution, family systems healthcare, advanced family systems, and joint programs with other NSU units.
