THE OFFICE OF VOLUNTEERISM AND COMMUNITY SERVICE FORT LAUDERDALE, FL— More than 40 student volunteers from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) will dress in formal attire and pick up their “Senior” dates at the Harbor Beach Nursing Home and HCR Manor Care of Plantation and head to the Senior Prom, 6:00 p.m., at the Rolling Hills Best Western on Monday, December 1, 2003. The “Senior” dates will win door prizes during the evening and dance with their NSU companion to the tunes of Tommy Dorsey and Glenn Miller. The couples will have a Senior Prom photo taken together and NSU students will present their dates with engraved picture frames for their photographs. This is the second year for the Senior Prom, which is sponsored by Student Affairs’ Office of Volunteerism and Community Service at NSU.
