Evening of music and fun to raise money for undergraduate scholarships

Fort Lauderdale-Davie, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern University H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship will hold its fourth annual Rock ‘n’ Roll Night on Sept. 12 to raise money for undergraduate scholarships.

Performers at the Huizenga School’s Rock ‘n’ Roll night will include: Nokie Edwards, lead guitarist for The Ventures and a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; singer and songwriter Richie Supa, who has toured with Aerosmith; and American blues rock and rock ‘n’ roll guitarist George Terry, who has recorded with artists such as Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker, Dolly Parton, and The Bee Gees and composed several hit songs, including “Lay Down Sally” and “I Shot the Sheriff.”

Guests are encouraged to dress in rock ‘n’ roll attire. The evening will also include a silent auction, buffet and cocktails. Longtime local television personality Tony Segreto will serve as emcee.

The three previous Rock ‘n’ Roll Nights have combined to raise more than $300,000 for undergraduate scholarships.
