Library Hosts “Hogwarts” Extravaganza
FT. LAUDERDALE-DAVIE , FL— Children
- ages 6-14 - are invited to attend the “Hogwarts” Extravaganza
on Saturday, July 16, 2:00-4:00 p.m., at the Alvin Sherman Library,
Research, and Information Technology Center on NSU’s main campus.
The event is free and open to the public.
The event will feature games, food, and
entertainment, including a drawing which will determine the three lucky “muggles” who
will win the new Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood
Prince, which is being released nationwide on July 16.
The Alvin Sherman Library, Research,
and Information Technology Center is a joint-use facility with the
Broward County Board of County Commissioners. Free card membership
allows patrons access to public library collections as well as exclusive
university academic resources. The library is located at 3100
Ray Ferrero, Jr. Blvd., Fort Lauderdale.
