Huizenga School At NSU Begins Leadership Enhancement And Developement Seminars
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL- Nova Southeastern University's H. Wayne Huizenga
School of Business and Entrepreneurship has begun a new series of seminars
developed specifically for managers and supervisors in the public sector,
Dean Randolph A. Pohlman announced.
The LEAD program [Leadership Enhancement and Development] was created
by NSU in response to a critical need for training as identified by
the Federal Office of Personnel Management. The LEAD seminars focus
on the skills needed by managers in organizational culture that drives
for results, serves customers, and builds successful teams and coalitions
within and outside the organization.
Seminars-that begin on September 8 and run from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.-are
structured in six modules and cover topics such as planning processes
and analysis, labor relations and business acumen. These stand-alone
modules may be taken singly; participants who successfully complete
all six modules will receive a professional certificate from the Huizenga
School.
Attendance is limited to 20 participants. Seminars will also be offered
