As an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University, Glenda Sabo teaches Costuming and Make-up at Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences. As a student, she is working toward a Doctorate of Education at the Fischler School of Education and Human Services. As a professional designer behind the lights and curtains within the theatre scene, she is a Wig, Hair and Makeup Designer at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts.

In her role at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts, she is working behind the scenes for the upcoming production of Gilligan’s Island – The Musical. She personally handles the stage makeup, hair and wigs for the two prominent stars – Barry Williams, a.k.a. Greg Brady of The Brady Bunch and Dawn Wells, a.k.a. In doing so, she will take this job into the classroom and use it as part of her curriculum in teaching Costuming and Make-up at NSU’s Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences.

Glenda has worked in the costuming industry for 20 plus years and has traveled and worked in theatre throughout Europe fulfilling her dream. At 53, this adjunct professor/student/theatre professional, is once again living the dream by taking her skills and education “Beyond the Classroom”.
