Nova Southeastern University Rocks the Night Away at 3rd Annual Rock ‘n Roll Night
FORT LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, FL - The H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship will host its 3rd annual Rock ‘n’ Roll Night, benefiting Huizenga School undergraduate students. This year the event will be held on Friday, March 2, at 6:00 p.m. at the Signature Grand, 6900 State Road 84, Davie.
To date, the event has raised more than $200,000 for undergraduate scholarships.
Rock “n” Roll Night will feature South Florida’s best rock ‘n’ roll band, Ready Steady Go, doo-wop group, The Five Boroughs and special guest, Nokie Edwards, lead guitarist of THE VENTURES. John “Footy” Kross and Drew Sattee will serve as emcees. The evening will begin at 6:00 pm with cocktails, a silent auction, followed by a dinner buffet and special performances and surprises.
At 8:00 pm the festivities continue with a performance by Ready Steady Go and local celebrity guests who will “sit in” with the band and play their favorite tunes. Local celebrities include:
- Randy Pohlman, dean of the Huizenga School;
- Anthony Bruno, Anthony's Runway 84;
- Steve Shelton, Shelton Dealerships;
- John Day, entertainer/entrepreneur (Mangos, Coconuts Restaurants);
- Preston Jones, Associate Dean, Huizenga School;
- Andrew Cagnetta, Transworld Business Brokers,
- Rock “n” Rappers and other surprise guests.
