University School Performing Arts Department to Perform Broadway Smash ‘Seussical the Musical’

The Performing Arts Department at University School of NSU is currently rehearing for the spring production of Seussical the Musical. Scheduled to open at the Rose & Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center Thursday, April 27 through Saturday, April 29, this Broadway smash musical will be performed each evening at 7:00 pm.

The lyrical rhythms of Dr. Seuss will come alive when Middle School students perform the delightful animated words adapted from such memorable characters as the Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, and the Grinch. Under the theatrical supervision of faculty, the Middle School productions provide a unique learning experience and are part of the school’s Mentorship Program. In this collaborative and supportive theatrical setting, upperclassmen direct, choreograph, and guide Middle School students.
