NSU “Squares” Come out for 15th Annual Hollywood
Squares
Fun Begins Friday, March 31, 5:30 p.m.
DAVIE-FORT LAUDERDALE, FL— Twelve of Nova Southeastern University’s “stars” will
fill up nine actual squares of the giant tic-tac-toe board as Nova Southeastern
University’s Office of Student Affairs hosts the 15th Annual Hollywood
Squares game Friday, March 31 at 5:30 p.m.
NSU’s faculty and staff members will attempt to stump student contestants
as they compete for round-trip airfare and accommodations for two to Las Vegas
for four days/three nights; a Carnival cruise for two valued at $1,000; and 10
game tickets and tailgate party for the Miami Dolphins’ regular season
opener.
A crowd of more than 700 is expected to attend the game at the Athletic-Student
Affairs building (ASA) which will be played on the actual original Hollywood
Squares set from when the television game show was shot on Hollywood
Beach in the 1980s.
In-between the games, attendees will be entertained by the winners
of Thursday night’s NSU Idol contest, which include Greek fraternity and sorority members
singing, rapping and dancing.
The ASA building is located near Gold Circle Lake on Nova Southeastern
University’s
main campus. For more information on NSU’s Hollywood Squares, call (954)
