Nova Singers Kick off 29th Spring Concert Series
Collaborates with St. Mark’s Children’s Choir on Rutter’s “Mass of The Children”

FORT LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, FL – Nova Singers of Nova Southeastern University, is pleased to present their 29th season spring concert series by joining with the Chamber Orchestra, and the Singing Lions Honor Choir, a children’s choir at St. Mark’s Episcopal School, Fort Lauderdale, for the South Florida premiere of Mass of the Children.

This concert series will showcase John Rutter’s most recent composition, which premiered in February 2003 at New York’s Carnegie Hall. Peggy Joyce Barber, the founder of Nova Singers, will conduct Rutter’s work, accompanied by Dana Davis, the Director of Music at St. Mark’s Episcopal School/choral director of the Singing Lions Honor Choir, who has served as the Nova Singers’ accompanist for 29 years.

During the concert, Nova Singers will also perform a variety of pieces including several selections by the “Fab Four” Beatles.

The Nova Singers and the Singing Lions Honor Choir will perform:
