Celebrate National Library Week
at the Alvin Sherman Library with
Children's Author Sergio Andrician

FORT LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, FL— National Library
Week at the Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology
Center kicks off with children’s author, Sergio Andricaín
on Tuesday, April 12 from 7-7:45 p.m.
Sergio Andricaín is the author of several
children’s books in Spanish, including Un Zoológico
en Casa, Hace Muchísimo Tiempo, La Caja de las
Coplas, and El Libro de Antón Pirulero. (All published
by Editorial Panamericana, Colombia.)
In addition to his work in children’s literature,
Sergio Andricaín has worked as an editor, translator, and writer
for such magazines as Buen Hogar, and the Spanish editions of Maxim and Travel & Leisure. A
graduate of the University of Havana in Cuba, he now resides in Miami.
The Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information
Technology Center, a joint-use facility with the Broward County Board
of County Commissioners, is located at 3100 Ray Ferrero, Jr. Blvd., Fort
Lauderdale on the main campus of Nova Southeastern University. Free card
membership allows patrons access to public library collections as well
as exclusive university academic resources.
