NSU Participates In 7th Annual Career Expo
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - The Southeast Florida Career Consortium of Private Universities (SFCC), a joint coalition of career service professionals from Barry University, Lynn University, Nova Southeastern University and St. Thomas University is proud to host regional, national and international employers at the SFCC Career Expo 2004, Thursday, Feb. 19, from 2-7 p.m. at the Signature Grand, Davie, FL.
This year marks the seventh consecutive year the universities have executed the Career Expo. Employer participants will network with higher education administrators and SFCC members at a seated luncheon prior to the start of recruitment that day. This year, major companies/organizations include: Citrix Systems, American Express Financial Advisors, NASCAR, U.S. Treasury Department, The Breakers, U.S. Department of State and more.
The SFCC career expos have gained popularity because they afford recruiters the opportunity to access multiple college-educated job candidates efficiently. Employers interested in participating in the SFCC Career Expo 2004 are encouraged to call Nova Southeastern University’s Office of Career Services at (954) 262-7201 or visit the SFCC website at: http://www.stu.edu/orgs/framesindex.html to register and see a list of attending employers updated daily.
The SFCC is a mutual effort of career service professionals who offer job development opportunities to employers and career opportunities to students and alumni of its participating private universities.
