LL Cool J Cancels Appearance at Nova Southeastern
University
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL-- Two-time Grammy award winner and actor LL Cool
J has canceled tomorrow's [Wednesday, February 19] appearance at Nova
Southeastern University. He was slated to appear as part of NSU's "Life
101: Personally Speaking" speaker series, at 7 p.m.
Evolution Talent Agency, which represents the singer/actor, told NSU
officials that he is unable to meet his commitment due to bad weather
in California hampering the filming of his latest movie.
This is the second time LL Cool J has cancelled a speaking engagement
with NSU. He previously canceled this past November's "Life 101:
Personally Speaking" appearance, also citing delays with a film's
production.
All 500 seats at NSU's Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center
were gone within a matter of hours once tickets became available to
NSU's students, faculty, and staff two weeks ago.
The show will not be made up, as NSU's attempts to reschedule were
unsuccessful.
For more information, contact NSU's Office of Student Affairs at (954)
262-7280.
