Exciting Events for March at NSU’s Library, Research, and Information Technology Center

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL—Nova Southeastern University’s Library, Research, and Information Technology Center, a joint-use facility with the Broward County Board of County Commissioners, is hosting several events and activities scheduled for the reminder of March.

For adults, the library will host:

  • Healing Arts Institute: The Healing Art of Crystals, sponsored by the Broward Public Library Foundation, Saturday, March 22, 1:00-5:00 p.m. Call (954) 357-7348 for more information
  • Intangible Tax Seminar, sponsored by the Florida Department of Revenue, Thursday, March 26, 10:00-11:00 a.m.
  • Books over Biscotti, adult book discussion group will discuss The Lovely Bones, by Alice Sebold, Thursday, March 27, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
  • Learn a Test, learn about online practice tests for the FCAT, ASVAB, SAT, GED and more on Sunday, March 30, 2:00-3:00 p.m.

For children, the library will host:

  • Software Storytime: Using Special Software in our Children’s Computer Lab, for children ages 3-5, Wednesday, March 19 & 26, 10:30-11:00 a.m.
    Young adult programs scheduled include:
  • Teen Tech Series: Finding a summer job using the Internet, Saturday, March 22, 1:00-2:00 p.m.
  • Shakespeare Club will discuss The Winter’s Tale, Thursday, March 27, 5:00-6:30 p.m.
