FT. LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. – Why wait for Independence Day to show your patriotic spirit? Celebrate early by joining Lincoln enthusiasts this summer as they read excerpts of essays, speeches, poems, plays, fiction, and nonfiction about Abraham Lincoln, his life, his achievements, and his legacy at the Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Technology Center at Nova Southeastern University (NSU).
The Lincoln in American Memory Reading and Discussion Group will meet at Alvin Sherman Library, 3100 Ray Ferrero, Jr. Blvd. in Davie, throughout June and July. Participants will receive a FREE booklet from the Lincoln in America Memory Project at each meeting. The schedule includes:
