NSU’s Center for Psychological Studies and Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences Co-host Forum
Ft. Lauderdale-Davie, FL. - Schools Under Fire: Crisis and Safety Issues will be the focal point of panel discussions on Wednesday, June 13 at 6:00PM in the Maltz Building on the main campus of Nova Southeastern University. The forum will cover school violence, the after effects and prevention.
The panel represents experts in areas such as clinical psychology, conflict resolution, child psychopathology and student relations. Presenters include Scott Poland, Ed.D, NSU associate professor and Chairman of the National Emergency Assistance Team; Marcia Sweedler, Ph.D, associate chair of the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution; Ann Rambo, Ph.D, associate professor of Family Therapy at NSU’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences and an expert on school bullying; Stephen Campbell, Ph.D, associate professor at the Center for Psychological Studies with extensive experience in child and adolescent developmental disorders; and Gay Holliday, Ed.D, associate dean of student affairs at Nova Southeastern University.
