Houston Resident Recipient of James Farquhar Award
at
Nova Southeastern University
Ft Lauderdale - Davie, FL.-Eric Naples, a finance major in the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, is the recipient of the 2007 James Farquhar Award. Recipients of this award must exemplify excellence in scholarship, service and leadership.
A four-year member of the Nova Southeastern University Men’s Soccer Team, Eric has been on the Dean’s List and enrolled in the Honors Program throughout his undergraduate academic career and has successfully completed requirements for the Citation in General Honors. He is a member of Sigma Beta Delta (International Honor Society for Business) and Omicron Delta Kappa (National Leadership Honor Society).
Eric has been active in the NSU Student Government Association and the local community, receiving the David and Lee Millman Scholarship Award in 2006 for outstanding contribution to the community. He also won the NSU Student Life Achievement Award as 2007 Male Athlete of the Year for his performance on the soccer team.
From the Clear Lake area of Houston, Texas and a graduate of Clear Lake High School, Eric’s future plans are to attend law school in the fall.
