Top Honors to be Given as Nova
Southeastern University Hosts 6th Annual
Student Life Achievement Awards
FORT LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, FL- More than 70 students,
faculty, and staff will vie for 14 awards, as Nova Southeastern University's
Office of Student Affairs presents the Sixth Annual Student Life Achievement
Awards on Tuesday, April 19, at 6:15 p.m. the Rose and Alfred Miniaci
Performing Arts Center, located on the north side of the Alvin Sherman
Library, Research, and Information Technology Center on NSU's main campus.
Known around NSU's campus as its version of the
Academy Awards - the "Stueys," as they are called - will be
given to the university's best in leadership, scholarship, service, integrity,
commitment, involvement, and responsibility. Award categories include:
Female athlete, corporate partner, professor, academic dean, alumnus,
staff person, administrator, graduate organization, undergraduate organization,
Greek organization, co-curricular advisor, male athlete, extended community
member, and student of the year.
A reception will immediately follow the event
in the lobby/plaza area outside of the auditorium. Limited seating is
available. Free tickets may be obtained in the Student Activities Office
located in the Athletic and Student Affairs (ASA) building. For more
