NSU To Host Summer Institute For Teachers
Training Designed for Advanced Placement Educators

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL- Nova Southeastern University 's Center for Continuing and Professional Studies will host its Summer Institute for Teachers of Advanced Placement (AP) during two sessions: July 12-16, and July 19-23, 2004. The Summer Institute is designed to benefit AP teachers and/or those teachers who will be teaching AP for the first time in the 2004 - 2005 school year.

Held in conjunction with the College Board, the Advanced Placement Summer Institute features instruction from the Board's premier educators, and will run each day will run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

During the week of July 12, subjects covered include chemistry, economics, physics, studio art and United States history. The week of July 19 will focus on calculus, computer science, English language, English literature, psychology, and statistics.
