NSU Names Dr. Mitch Spero to Board of Advisors For Undergraduate College

FORT LAUDERDALE , FL- Nova Southeastern University (NSU) has named psychologist Mitch Spero, Psy.D., Plantation, to the Board of Advisors for the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences.

Spero, who was the 1993 President of the Broward County Psychological Association, is the Director of Child & Family Psychologists of Plantation, Florida, and Child & Family Psychologists of Weston, Florida. He is an alumnus of NSU’s Center for Psychological Studies.

The Board of Advisors is charged with providing assistance and counsel for the overall development and progress of the Farquhar College. This assistance is provided to the dean and designated staff of Farquhar at regularly scheduled quarterly meetings, as well as other less formal opportunities, as deemed appropriate by either the board chair or the dean.

Nova Southeastern University, with its main campus in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is the largest independent institution of higher education in the Southeastern United States, and the 10th largest nationally. It awards associate’s, bachelor's, master's, educational specialist, doctoral, and first-professional degrees in a wide range of fields, including business, counseling, computer and information sciences, education, medicine, dentistry, various health professions, law, marine sciences, psychology, and other social sciences. NSU also offers 16 undergraduate majors through the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences.
