Nova Southeastern University to Host Two Teleconferences Re: Charitable Donations on Thursday, May 1
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL—Two teleconferences featuring charitable donations will be held at Nova Southeastern University next week.
The "Great Gifts of Home" teleconference, held Thursday, May 1, at 1 p.m. (box lunch served at 12:15 p.m.) on NSU's main campus inside the Mailman-Hollywood Building, will discuss the benefits of donating homes.
Immediately afterwards, from 3-5:15 p.m., (with registration beginning at 2:30 p.m.), "The Donor Would Like Control" teleconference will cover all methods for donors to exert control use of their gifts and give children charitable influence options through private foundations, supporting organizations, donor advised funds, and personal foundations. This teleconference will be at the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center at NSU's Library, Research, and Information Technology Center, also on NSU's main campus.
Teleconference topics include Washington update; private foundations; personal foundation; supporting organizations; lead trust foundation; unitrust DAF foundation; and gift, lead trust. This teleconference is essential for CPA's, attorneys, financial advisers, and trust officers. Continuing education credit approved.
Nova Southeastern University's main campus is located at 3301 College Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, 33314. The Mailman-Hollywood Building is just southwest of the Horvitz Administration Building. Its Library, Research, and Information Technology Center is located at 3100 Ray Ferrero, Jr., Blvd., at NSU's north entrance.
