Web Team Procedures for
Maintaining NSU Web Sites

Accurate and up-to-date site content remains the sole responsibility of each department/center. The Web Team anticipates a 24-48 hour TURNAROUND for the majority of content updates. This excludes weekends and holidays. In order for the Web Team to process your department/center's requests in a timely manner, it is important to adhere to the following guidelines and standards:

  • Assign one web site contact person per department/center to be the liaison between the Web Team and personnel. To become an official Information Provider for your department/center web site, please complete an Information Provider Agreement.
  • For MINOR CHANGES
Send via email (webteam@nsu.nova.edu) with description of change(s) and the URL of the page(s) to be changed.
  • For MAJOR CHANGES
Send in Microsoft Office Format via email (webteam@nsu.nova.edu). Major changes are identified as new pages, forms, or whole site sections. The Web Team will provide you with an estimated time frame for completion.

Requests for Graphic or Document Scanning

  • The Web Team cannot scan graphics or documents produced by the Office of Publications. The Web Team will scan photos and documents that have NOT been produced by the Office of Publications for placement on the web. Photos, logos, or documents scanned from paper documents or brochures do not produce a good quality digital graphic or document. Please provide a copy of the original photograph, image, or document in digital form whenever possible.

Requests for PDF Forms or Documents

  • If the form or document was originally prepared or created by the Office of Publications, the department/center must request the document from the Office of Publications. A fee may be assessed for this service. For all other PDF requests, please send the document in electronic format to webteam@nsu.nova.edu.
