OIT's Web Team is charged with the task of developing and maintaining NSU's web presence. This includes the main NSU web site, departmental web sites, and several college/school sites. The Web Team works with information providers in departments, colleges and schools throughout the university to keep web site content up-to-date.

Mass Email
The Web Team processes mail email requests for the university. In conjunction with Public Affairs, the Web Team has set up procedures for requesting and guidelines for submitting mass email requests.
Student Club/Organization Web Space
OIT provides student clubs and organizations with web space, as well as other web resources, to facilitate communication to their members.
Search Engine
OIT utilizes the Google Search Appliance for searching NSU web sites. The Google Search Appliance is a spider-based search engine which functions by visiting a list of sites, following all the links, and indexing the content. Google enables NSU to provide search services for content, regardless of the server on which it is housed.
