The Technology Facilities Planning and Support unit of OIT provides needs assessment, design, planning and implementation support for the construction, renovation, and retrofitting of classroom technology facilities infrastructure and equipment, including electronic classrooms, smart classrooms, and videoconferencing rooms networks and facilities.
Closely collaborating with other OIT units, Facilities Management, and Purchasing, TFP&S works through each stage of the design, planning, implementation, and installation process for electronic classrooms, smart classrooms, lecture halls, instructional facilities for specialized applications, and videoconferencing networks and rooms. Other services include user training and documentation.
