Email Account
NSU provides its students with an email account. Your email account provides you access to your email, secure NSU sites, personal web site space, and access to numerous online tools and access to your online courses via WebCT.
All official university mail communications will be sent to your NSU email account (Policy on Electronic Communications). Your account provides you with 20 MB of storage space.

WebSTAR
Register for classes; Display class schedule; View holds; Display grades & transcripts; Loan Deferments and Enrollment Verification; Request a Printed Transcript; Review Financial Aid requirements & awards; Make credit card or e-check payments i.e. tuition & fees; Graduation Application payment.
In order to use WebSTAR, you must agree to its Terms of Usage.
Internet Access
If you reside in the Fort Lauderdale area, you may use NSU as your ISP through a dial-up connection. For assistance on setup, please contact the NSU Help Desk at (954) 262-4357. NSU also offers students wireless access to the Internet. To learn more about NSU's wireless access, please visit our Wireless Information Network and Global Services (WINGS) web site.
Personal Web Pages
You can create personal web pages using your NSU online account. Personal web pages must not conflict with NSU policies regarding Acceptable Use of Computing Resources and World Wide Web Pages. In order to begin you must first create your public web directory on NSU's server. After you "Create Your Web Space" you will be directed to our Web Basics page to learn how to start building your web site.
WebCT/Online Learning
Most online courses are accessible through WebCT. To log on, you will need your NSU email name and password.
If your online course is not offered through WebCT, please contact your program office for further information.
Hardware Discounts/Free Software
Personal computer discount pricing is available for NSU students through NSU. Free Software is also available for download for our students.
