In addition to course content, WebCT offers the instructor the capability of creating quizzes and surveys. The assessment questions can be in the form of multiple choice, matching, calculated, short answer, and paragraph. All questions, with the exception of paragraph questions, can be automatically graded. With several educational textbook companies now providing instructors with ready-made question databases, instructors have numerous tools available for assessment purposes. The IZone provides assistance with integrating assessment applications as well as converting question databases into the WebCT format. Due to the fact that each quiz needs to be set with specific time frames and variables, instructors will need to communicate their assessment preferences with the IZone. The following is what is required
Content questions Answer key The start date and time of the quiz The end date and time of the quiz Amount of time student should have to complete the quiz Specific variables (i.e. deliver questions all at once, release test scores, etc.)	2-3 business days depending on the number and type of assessment questions
