GHRI researchers and colleagues from NOAA Fisheries in Miami make a major discovery in billfish science by confirming the existence of a white marlin look-alike species known as the roundscale spearfish. This discovery has raised concerns about how many real white marlin, a threatened and highly overfished species, are left in the wild.
