Huizenga School Research Project Explores Electronic eCommerce

An online marketing company has partnered with a doctoral student in the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship to facilitate an academic survey that will help the public to better understand ecommerce.

InterShopZone.com’s partnership in this research project will help address the need for knowledge about the influences on electronic marketplaces.

Thomas J. Decker III, a candidate for the Doctor of Business Administration degree, is compiling the research for his dissertation under the supervision of Huizenga School professor Randi Sims, Ph.D.; adjunct professor Larry Chiagouris, Ph.D., of Pace University; and peer reviewer Andy Borchers, D.B.A., of Kettering University.

"This research has the potential to advance our understanding of customer relationships and how to extend them in the ecommerce arena,” said Chiagouris. “This may result in not only greater knowledge as to how to create more satisfied customers, but better practices in building stronger relationships with people who shop using the Internet.”

The survey will run until January 3, 2005. To participate in the survey, go to http://www.InterShopZone.com/Survey.

InterShopZone.com is a wholly owned subsidiary of Auctionweiser Enterprises, Inc. The survey is completely anonymous and does not require the user to provide any contact or other identifiable information. Neither Auctionweiser Enterprises, Inc. nor its related Web properties will use the information collected by the survey in any noneconomic way.
