Stop AIDS: Make the Promise - World AIDS Day Dec. 1

Help promote AIDS awareness by commemorating World AIDS Day. A series of activities is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 1 in the atrium of the DeSantis Building and on the Library Quad.

World AIDS Day Events Include:

  • World AIDS Day Opening Speaker @ Noon
  • Unveiling Of AIDS Memorial Quilt & NSU Quilt Panels @ 12:30p.m.
  • Viewing of Quilt and Panels @ 12:30-5 p.m.
  • Free Food, T-Shirts, Testing Information and MORE!

Each of us can help stop the spread of HIV and reduce the impact of AIDS. You don't have to be a top scientist working on a cure to make a difference. Protecting yourself and others from HIV infection, welcoming someone living with HIV into your life or even just talking about HIV and AIDS can help.

World AIDS Day activities are sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs and the Gay/Straight Student Alliance.
